Marie-Pier Tessier-De L’Étoile is co-founder and Executive Director of Aire Commune. A graduate of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) in Cultural and Media Production Strategies, she brings more than 15 years of experience creating and managing large-scale cultural and event projects. Before co-founding Aire Commune, she led Chromatic, co-founded (en)effet, and held key roles with Piknic Électronik and Igloofest.
Throughout her career, Marie-Pier has been recognized for her ability to bring people together around meaningful projects, combining strategic thinking, creativity, and a forward-looking vision. Known for her people-first approach, she places collaboration and innovation at the heart of every initiative.
At Aire Commune, she contributes to projects that reimagine public spaces through placemaking, creating vibrant, inclusive places where communities can gather and connect.
