An immersive night of live music, projection and light that transforms the historic CDCC domed theatre.
Part of Capital Music Week, the performance brings together interdisciplinary artist Kwende Kefentse and keyboardist Kim Farris-Manning for a live exchange of sound and visuals.
Farris-Manning moves between Ottawa’s largest pipe organ, piano and harpsichord, while Kefentse layers and loops sound and video in real time. Together, they create a performance that evolves as it happens.
Above them, CDCC’s 55-foot dome becomes a canvas. Archival imagery and audio-reactive visuals move across the architecture, shifting with the music and filling the space with light.
Part concert, part visual experience, Pipes & Projections offers a new way to experience one of Ottawa’s most distinctive heritage spaces.
