Laura Beeston has spent 15+ years writing, reporting, producing, and curating content for print, broadcast, digital media, and events. After working in newsrooms across Canada (The Winnipeg Free Press, The Montreal Gazette, The Globe and Mail, and the Toronto Star), she pivoted to event production for companies like C2 Montréal, MTL 24/24, the City of Ottawa’s Nightlife Office, and The Logic. Recently, Laura worked as a Bilingual News Editor at Apple, curating the Apple News and Stocks apps in both official languages, and earned First Aid certification to become a Lifeguard. She is currently an MBA student at Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business, specializing in project and change management.
